Teflon thick coating
Teflon thick coating has extremely low coefficient of friction, good abrasion resistance and good chemical resistance. Teflon thick coating is available only in water-based liquid form. Teflon thick coatings can be used on carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, steel alloys, brass and magnesium as well as non-metallics such as glass, fiberglass, some rubber and plastics. Optimum adhesion is obtained by roughening the surface prior to application of the coating. Thermal processing is then required to cure the coated product.
BLIONTM-A
pinhole free homogenous thick coating of PVDF (KYNAR), FEP, PFA,
ETFE.ECTFE (HALAR). It has the extraordinary chemical resistance
on chemical equipments parts. Any articles of intricacy shape can
be processed. Thickness from 500 to 1000 microns. Any articles of
intricate configurations can be processed.

Specifiction For-BLION? Parts
should withstand 450oC without warping or
damage. Parts cannot be painted before coating. All
inside and outside corners to be radioused. All junction
of flanges, nozzles, manway, ID of flange faces to be
ground to a smooth redious. For pipes under 8" minimum
radii of 3/16", to 16" radii of 1/4" and over 16" radii
of 3/8". Nozzles and Manway to be flush with inside
wall of vessel.
All welds on the interior to be ground flush without
splatter, protrusions or pits.
For perforated steel hole diameter to metal thickness
ratio required 1:1 with proper radii. Castings must
be of excellent quality, porosity can cause problems
during process.
Welds must be solid, continous and should contain no
porosity, holes or undercutting. No welding can be done
after coating is applied. TOP
